I came to /pol/ right after the election, yes I missed out on that glorious night. Then Q started posting. I was hooked instantly like most other anons. I started posting Q drops on my personal FB page and then almost all notables that normies could understand. Planting seeds. Slowly, very slowly interest grew. Not in yuge numbers but it was refreshing. I have a FB message group of about 37 people, 10 very active, the rest mostly lurk, that's fine. About 2 weeks ago I decided to start posting Notables in 4 different FB groups. All right wing leaning. Eyes on. My notifications were blowing up. No way in hell to keep up. Notable videos with 20,000 views kinda eyes on. Gained followers. Then from outta nowhere on Thursday I get a 3 day FB ban for telling a dummy shill to Fuckoff. For realz? So now I have started a file to save all 3 days of Notables and on Monday FB is going to get a Notable dump like the World has never seen before! Side note. I don't just come here to share the hard work elsewhere, I have put in countless hours here and might be close to 100 notables. Love to all , no homo.
Iran has no plans to leave OPEC despite tensions: oil minister
GENEVA (Reuters) - Iran has no plans to leave the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries despite being treated like an enemy by some fellow members, Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said in an interview published on Saturday.
“Iran has no plans to leave OPEC…and regrets that some members of OPEC have turned this organization into a political forum for confronting two founding members of OPEC, meaning Iran and Venezuela,” Zanganeh told the Iranian parliament news site ICANA.
“And two regional countries are showing enmity toward us in this organization. We are not their enemy but they are showing enmity toward us…and (they) use oil as a weapon against us in the global market and world.”
Zanganeh did not name the two countries.
Tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - both U.S. allies - have spiked this year after the two said they would increase oil production to make up for Iranian crude cut off from the market by U.S. sanctions.
On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration added Iran’s largest petrochemical holding group to its sanctions list, accusing it of indirectly supporting Tehran’s Revolutionary Guards. Washington said the move aimed to dry up revenues to the elite Iranian military force but analysts called it largely symbolic.
Zanganeh was also quoted by ICANA as saying the United States had made it increasingly difficult for Iran to sidestep sanctions but it had come up with new ways to circumvent them.
“We have thought about confronting America’s actions and constantly have found and will find new ways and anyway this is a war where we are standing strong and will not retreat.” he said, without elaborating.
The Trump administration is seeking to isolate Iran over its nuclear and ballistic missile programs as well as its support for proxy groups in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen.

UK PM candidate Gove admits taking cocaine
LONDON (Reuters) - Michael Gove, a leading contender to replace British Prime Minister Theresa May, said he had used cocaine and has “deep regrets” about taking the drug on several occasions.
The Daily Mail on Friday quoted Gove as saying he had taken the drug at social gatherings when he was a young journalist
“It was a mistake. I look back and I think I wish I hadn’t done that,” he said. “It was 20 years ago and yes, it was a mistake. But I don’t believe that past mistakes disqualify you.”
The revelation comes as the contest to replace May is gathering pace with candidates arguing over the rights and wrongs of a so-called no-deal Brexit, or leaving the EU without a deal.
May stepped down as leader of the governing Conservatives on Friday, officially triggering a contest to replace her that could see her party embrace a tougher stance on Brexit.
Candidates must announce whether they are standing in the contest by Monday. The selection process should be completed by the end of July.
Gove said he hoped that the disclosure would not prevent him being appointed the next prime minister.
“Obviously it will be for my colleagues in parliament and members of the Conservative Party to decide now if I should be leader,” he said. “I think all politicians have lives before politics.”

Merkel's conservatives hit new low, piling pressure on coalition
BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservatives slumped to a record low and fell further behind the resurgent opposition Greens in a survey published on Saturday, reflecting growing disillusionment with the ruling coalition.
Doubts are mounting that Merkel’s right-left alliance can last its full term until 2021, largely due to disarray within her Social Democrat (SPD) partners, and many experts now see increasing chances of a federal election next year.
The Forsa poll put the conservative bloc on 24%, down two points from a week ago.
The Social Democrats (SPD) remained stuck at their low of 12% - level with the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) - a week after their leader quit because of a dismal performance in regional and European elections. Many members want to quit government and rebuild in opposition.
The Greens, buoyed by growing concern across Europe about climate change, which helped propel them to second place in European Parliament elections, remained the most popular party, on 27%.
“The Greens are benefiting from high voter mobilization, the self-destruction of the SPD and attempts by the conservatives to trump the Greens on climate protection,” said Forsa chief Manfred Guellner.
If Merkel’s coalition collapses, Germany faces the possibilities of a snap election, a minority government or an unwieldy alliance of three blocs.
Any of those scenarios would be likely to hasten the exit of Merkel, chancellor for almost 14 years, who has handed over the leadership of her Christian Democrats (CDU) to protege Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer. Merkel has said she will not stand again as chancellor of Europe’s biggest economy.
Kramp-Karrenbauer has failed to boost the CDU and in the Forsa poll, only 19% of respondents said they would back her as chancellor in a direct vote, two points down from a week ago.
The SPD have yet to decide how to elect their next leader and no one has yet stepped forward.
The weekly Der Spiegel ran a title story on Kevin Kuehnert, the hoody-wearing 29-year-old head of the SPD youth wing, a divisive figure who campaigned against the grand coalition last year and wants to shift the party to the left.
It quoted some party members as saying they would like him to stand as leader and others saying it would be madness.
The media-savvy Kuehnert is no stranger to controversy; last month he caused a storm by saying companies such as carmaker BMW should be taken into collective ownership.

Ohio jury awards $11 million to bakery owners targeted by Oberlin College student protests
Bakery filed the libel suit after student boycott, allegations of racism.
The owners of an Ohio bakery who sued for libel after being targeted by student protests won Friday an $11 million verdict against Oberlin College.
A Lorain County jury ordered Oberlin to pay $11 million in compensatory damages to Gibson’s Bakery, a local fixture since 1885 that was beset by protests and racism allegations after three black students were arrested for shoplifting the day after the 2016 presidential election.
“The jury saw that Oberlin College went out of their way to harm a good family and longtime business in their community for no real reason, and the jury said we aren’t going to tolerate that in our community anymore,” Owen Rarric, an attorney for the Gibsons, told Legal Insurrection.
The award, which could triple at Tuesday’s hearing on punitive damages, came as a warning to universities that encourage social-justice activism as student protests spill from the campus to the local community.
“The verdict sends a strong message that colleges and universities cannot simply wind up and set loose student social justice warriors and then wash their hands of the consequences,” said Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson, who runs the conservative Legal Insurrection website.
Bakery owners said they lost business after Oberlin students held protests accusing them of discrimination. The student Senate passed a resolution claiming Gibson’s had “a long history of racial profiling,” and Dean of Students Meredith Raimondo was accused of passing out an anti-Gibson’s flier.

Tesla Model X Reportedly On Autopilot Slams Into Construction Truck, Killing Driver, In Ukraine
Another day, yet another fatality in a Tesla where Autopilot may have played a role.
A fatal accident involving a Tesla Model X reportedly on Autopilot occurred on the Kyiv-Zhytomyr highway in Ukraine on Friday June, 7, 2019, according to Autogeek.
The Model X reportedly drove under a tanker truck (where have we heard that before?) that was helping perform roadwork, eventually causing the vehicle to fly off the road. The damage to the Model X appears to be devastating and the driver was reported dead on the spot, according to media cited by Autogeek.
The nature of the damage indicates that the car was travelling at a high rate of speed at the time.
Law enforcement agencies are still looking into the cause of the accident. The Autogeek article "presumes" the Model X was in Autopilot mode at the time, but it also sounds like an investigation is pending.
Tack this instance onto the list of questionable deaths and accidents that have potentially occurred as a result of Tesla beta testing its Autopilot software on its drivers. We will continue to follow this story as we continue to wait for the NHTSA to take desperately needed action to protect drivers and prevent future fatalities.

Huge Hong Kong protest expected in last push to scrap extradition bill
HONG KONG (Reuters) - At least half a million people in Hong Kong are expected to brave sweltering heat on Sunday to press the government to scrap a proposed extradition law that would allow suspects to be sent to China to face trial, organizers of the march said.
A committee of pro-democratic groups has raised turnout estimates and are now eyeing the biggest single-day rally since 2003, when a similar number of protesters forced the government to shelve tighter national security laws.
The march will end at the city’s Legislative Council, where debates start on Wednesday into sweeping amendments to the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance. The extradition bill is due to be passed by the end of the month.
After weeks of growing local and international pressure, the protest is expected to reflect the broad range of opposition to the bill, with many saying they simply cannot trust China’s court system or its security apparatus.
The city’s independent legal system was guaranteed under laws governing Hong Kong’s return from British to Chinese rule 22 years ago, and is seen by the financial hub’s business and diplomatic communities as its strong remaining asset amid encroachments from Beijing.
Concerns have spread from the city’s democratic and human rights groups to secondary school students, church groups and media lobbies as well as corporate lawyers and pro-establishment business figures, some usually loathe to contradict the government.

Detained Russian investigative journalist taken to hospital: Ifax
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Police said on Saturday that a Russian investigative journalist who was detained this week for alleged drug offences had been taken to hospital, Russian news agencies reported.
Ivan Golunov, 36, was on his way to a meeting with a source on Thursday when he was taken into custody in central Moscow and illegal drugs were found in his rucksack, according to police and his employer, the online news portal Meduza.
A lawyer for Golunov, who is known for investigating alleged corruption among Moscow city officials, said he believed police had planted the drugs on his client to frame him and that Golunov had been physically beaten.
“The detainee … complained of feeling unwell. An ambulance was called… The ambulance doctors decided that he should be taken to a hospital for examination,” Interfax quoted a Moscow police press office as saying.
A Moscow court was due to decide on pre-trial restrictive measures on Saturday.
The editorial management of Meduza, which is based in Latvia, said in a statement that Golunov had received threats in recent months in connection with a story he was working on.
