>Genius on POTUS's part?
I think Tillerson really screwed stuff up by blaming the Russians before the US made an official statement.
Tillerson gets fired, so if Trump subsequently makes a statement saying "let's wait and see", you can figure Tillerson got fired for his unauthorized blame Russia statement.
That would blow Trump's cover wrt to a stance opposed to the UK/EU if that was the plan.
So Trump basically has to side with UK/EU in order to not show his cards.
What's going on back channel is another matter. I'm sure Trump & Putin have talked since the issue is grave at this point.
All this shit started when Q opened up against the EU. Seems to me it was timed with the Merkel new term. She's locked in and the EU doesn't have the maneuverability they would have with a different German gov.
JA and Snowden, although not EU, rely more on the EU for protection (human rights stuff) , and Kim dot com is German, so the fact they started spouting off about the admin cahnges indicates to me that the EU is the big enchilada in this operation.
Again, Tillerson fucked up by trying to protect some EU characters and their dealing with Iran, IMO.
TL;DR Whatever we hear from the US at this point is meaningless because the US has to take Tillerson's angle, otherwise it shows Tillerson was fired for his Russia statement and that would show the US hand to the EU.
