Is that why the US ranks below most other nations?
We spend spend spend, and the schools get worse worse worse.
It's not about money, or free. Its about ideology. Too much brainwashing, not enough teaching.
Competition is good. Let parents choose where to spend the money that is granted per student. If they choose public school. Fine.
If they choose a private one, then that amount can be applied to the tuition.
Make the schools compete for students if tax dollars are footing the bill. It's the American way.
I didn't say end funding.
I said take the tax dollars and allow the parent to apply that grant to whatever school they want the child to attend.
