Don Jr.’s Closed-Door Testimony to Senate Intel Committee Leaks to CNN

Donald Trump Jr. was interviewed by the highly corrupt members of the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee Wednesday behind closed doors.

Last month, the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed Donald Trump Jr. to answer questions about his prior testimony to Senate investigators related to the Russia investigation.

The Senate Intel Panel has interviewed over 200 witnesses and poured over hundreds of thousands of documents as part of their investigation into whether Trump’s camp colluded with Russia — the investigation started over two years ago in January of 2017.

Don Jr. previously testified to the Committee (for 25 hours) that he was only “peripherally aware” of the plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

RINO Chairman Richard Burr dragged the President’s son in front of the Committee again and a “source” has already leaked portions of Don Jr.’s testimony to CNN.

Donald Trump Jr. told the Senate Intelligence Committee Wednesday that he did not tell his father about the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting and that he didn’t pay close attention to the Trump Tower Moscow project that was one of many potential deals that had been in the works, according to a source close to Trump Jr.

The source said that Trump Jr. also reiterated that he did not tell anyone ahead of time besides the participants about the Trump Tower meeting where a Russian lawyer offered dirt on Hillary Clinton, telling the panel that he did not know what campaign deputy Rick Gates was talking about after Gates told the special counsel that the President’s eldest son mentioned a potential offer of negative information at a campaign meeting.

In Wednesday’s interview, Trump Jr. told the committee that he would never whisper in his dad’s ear about the meeting, the source said, because if he had wanted to say something he wouldn’t have kept it a secret.

Trump Jr. dismissed that he was extensively briefed by Cohen about the Trump Tower Moscow project, saying that Cohen rarely executed a deal so he had little reason to pay attention to anything he may have been pitching, according to the source

Trump Jr. was also questioned about whether he was aware of former campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s conversations with Russians and Roger Stone’s discussions with WikiLeaks, the source said. The source said that several topics did not come up during Wednesday’s interview included the initial misleading statement crafted on Air Force One about the Trump Tower meeting and the hush money payments Cohen facilitated in the run up to the 2016 election to silence allegations that Trump had affairs with two women.

“The reality was there’s nothing to change,” Don Jr. told reporters after his testimony. “I don’t think I changed anything of what I said because there was nothing to change. I’m glad this is finally over and we’re able to put final clarity on that. And I think the committee understands that.”

Could JPMorgan Chase Be Hit with a Fourth Felony Count for Rigging Precious Metals Markets?

On September 25, 2013, after spending five years and 7,000 hours using taxpayers’ money investigating the potential rigging of the silver market, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) concluded that “there is not a viable basis to bring an enforcement action with respect to any firm or its employees related to our investigation of silver markets.” The investigation was provoked by multiple complaints asserting the market was rigged.

The CFTC is a Federal regulator that oversees the U.S. commodities markets. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is also a Federal agency and the only one that can bring a criminal case against firms and individuals who commit conspiracy and fraud in commodity and securities markets. (The Securities and Exchange Commission can bring only civil, not criminal, cases.)

On October 9 of last year, the DOJ used its criminal powers and charged John Edmonds, a former long-time employee of JPMorgan Chase, with one count of commodities fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, commodities fraud, commodities price manipulation and spoofing.

The charges covered the period in which the CFTC had found no “viable basis to bring an enforcement action” for silver market manipulation.

Edmonds has pleaded guilty to the charges and admitted that “from approximately 2009 through 2015, he conspired with other precious metals traders at the Bank to manipulate the markets for gold, silver, platinum and palladium futures contracts traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange Inc. (NYMEX) and Commodity Exchange Inc. (COMEX)….”

In one specific example involving the silver market, Edmonds admitted to the following:

“As one example of this deceptive trading strategy, on or about October 12, 2012, at approximately 1:08:48.831 p.m. (Central Daylight Time), the defendant placed an order to sell 402 silver futures contracts at the per-contract price of $33.610 with the intent to cancel the order before execution. The purpose of this Spoof Order was to induce other market participants to trade against the defendant’s opposite side order to buy silver futures contracts, which order the defendant did want to execute. The defendant’s Spoof Order did, in fact, cause other market participants to react and trade at prices, quantities, and times that they otherwise would not have traded, but for the defendant’s Spoof Order, including a precious metals trader in Connecticut who sold a single silver futures contract at 1:08:48.837 p.m. at the price of $33.585.”

Kushner as a Colonial Administrator: Let’s Talk About the ‘Israeli Model’

In a TV interview on June 2, on the news docuseries "Axios" on the HBO channel, Jared Kushner opened up regarding many issues, in which his "Deal of the Century" was a prime focus.

The major revelation made by Kushner, President Donald Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, was least surprising. Kushner believes that Palestinians are not capable of governing themselves.

Not surprising, because Kushner thinks he is capable of arranging the future of the Palestinian people without the inclusion of the Palestinian leadership. He has been pushing his so-called "Deal of the Century" relentlessly, while including in his various meets and conferences countries such as Poland, Brazil and Croatia, but not Palestine.

Indeed, this is what transpired at the Warsaw conference on "peace and security" in the Middle East. The same charade, also led by Kushner, is expected to be rebooted in Bahrain on June 25.

Much has been said about the subtle racism in Kushner’s words, reeking with the stench of old colonial discourses where the natives were seen as lesser, incapable of rational thinking beings who needed the civilized "whites" of the western hemisphere to help them cope with their backwardness and inherent incompetence.

Kushner, whose credentials are merely based on his familial connections to Trump and family friendship with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is now poised to be the colonial administrator of old, making and enforcing the law while the hapless natives have no other option but to either accommodate or receive their due punishment.

Inside Israel’s million dollar troll army

A global influence campaign funded by the Israeli government had a $1.1 million budget last year, a document obtained by The Electronic Intifada shows.

Act.IL says it has offices in three countries and an online army of more than 15,000.

In its annual report, from January, Act.IL says its goal is to “influence foreign publics” and “battle” BDS – the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement for Palestinian rights.

Through its app, Act.IL issues “missions” to this troll army in exchange for “cool prizes” and scholarships.

The app directs comments towards news websites in support of Israeli wars and racism, while attacking Palestinians and solidarity campaigners.

The leaked report claims Act.IL’s app completes 1,580 such missions every week.

Act.IL’s report was obtained by The Electronic Intifada thanks to researcher Michael Bueckert.

Bueckert monitors the app, and posts screenshots of its missions to the Twitter account Behind Israel’s Troll Army.

If the report’s figures are accurate, Israeli government funding seems to account for a majority of the group’s 2017 budget – the same year it launched the app.

The report does not disclose Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs as being among the funders it lists – though it does thank “private anonymous donors.”

The ministry’s director general has made it clear that their work “stays under the radar,” and has attempted to change Israeli law to render it classified in the same way as Israeli intelligence agencies.

Gilad Erdan – a close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – is both strategic affairs minister and public security minister.

In 2017, Erdan explained why his ministry uses front organizations like Act.IL: “Most of the ministry’s actions are not of the ministry, but through bodies around the world who do not want to expose their connection with the state.”

But as the Israeli news report in the video below shows, Act.IL is one of the Israeli government’s less subtle projects.

Erdan himself launched the app at a lavish rooftop party in New York in 2017, doing his best “down with the kids” act by donning a DJ’s headphones.

Israel and Lockheed Martin sign F-35 maintenance deal

ERUSALEM (AP) — Israel says it awarded a $42 million contract to Lockheed Martin to provide maintenance and training services for its fleet of F-35 fighter jets.

Israel's Defense Ministry said Tuesday that under the deal, the U.S. defense contractor will support a training simulator and logistics management system at an Israeli air force base.

Israel will pay over half the cost in five years, with the rest contingent on a five-year extension.

Zeev Landau, Israel's chief of air force and navy procurement, says the agreement has strategic importance "for the independence" of Israel's air force.

Joshua Shani, CEO of Lockheed Martin Israel, says support will begin immediately.

Israel was one of the first countries to acquire the F-35 next-generation warplane and last year said it was the first to use it operationally.

Teen Vogue instructs young girls on how to get abortions without their parents’ consent

Teen Vogue recently published an article that directed teens how to obtain an abortion without their parents' knowledge or consent.

What are the details?

Contributor Nona Willis Aronowitz penned the article, which was published in an advice column last week on the magazine's website, titled, "How to Get an Abortion If You're a Teen."

A teen wrote the magazine, saying, "I'm 16, I'm pregnant, and I don't want to be. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to get an abortion without my parents' permission, but I'm really scared to tel them because they are both against abortion. What should I do?"

Aronowitz said that she, too, faced a similar conundrum when she was just 15 years old — but "luckily" for her, her mother was on board with terminating the potential pregnancy.

"I obsessed over a potential unplanned pregnancy to my best friend over the phone," Aronowitz wrote. "I knew for sure I didn't want a baby, and I was raised with very little shame around sex."

Aronowitz's mother came to the rescue and obtained the morning-after pill "without judging or admonishing" her teen daughter.

"I'm here to tell you that you have nothing to be ashamed of. Accidents can happen even to the most careful among us," Aronowitz explained. "And it's only logical that if teens are mature enough to become parents, they are mature enough to decide whether or not they want to give birth."

"Having access to abortion should be your right, regardless of your parents' beliefs," Aronowitz added. She even went as far as to explain the teen's legal rights.

"There is a legal option in 36 states that would let you get an abortion without parental approval called a judicial bypass procedure — an infantilizing holdup to which nobody should have to resort," Aronowitz explained, adding that if the teen is unable to find the courage to tell her parents, she should at least tell another adult.

"Seeking out an empathetic authority figure will make you feel less alone and help you process your emotions," Aronowitz wrote, "because everybody loves someone who's had an abortion. Including you."

The outlet also shared the article on Twitter, captioning it, "Having access to abortion should be your right, regardless of your parents' beliefs."

US Propaganda Blitz Ahead of Idlib’s Liberation

A recent New York Times article titled, “Inside Syria’s Secret Torture Prisons: How Bashar al-Assad Crushed Dissent,” dusts off, combines, and repackages now nearly 8 years of Western war propaganda aimed at demonizing the Syrian government and paving way for regime change.

While the article claims it now has “memos sent to Syria’s head of military intelligence” to back up previous claims, it admits “some information was blacked out to protect the integrity of evidence for possible prosecutions.”

Yet in order to accuse a government publicly of maintaining “secret torture prisons,” evidence must be provided. Instead, the NYT presented recycled accounts from “activists” and opposition figures as well as Western-funded fronts including the “Syrian Network for Human Rights” and the “Commission for International Justice and Accountability” (CIJA).

The CIJA in particular is claimed by NYT to have collected the alleged memos. Nothing about the CIJA’s background is provided by the NYT, nor can any website with background information be found.

However, the US government’s Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) interviewed CIJA director of investigations and operations, Chris Engels in 2018. In the interview, CIJA’s funding was discussed:

[CSCE:] Who funds CIJA?

[Chris Engels:] We have had a number of donors over the years. Our current donors include the United Kingdom, Canada, the European Union, Germany, Demark [sic], the Netherlands, and Norway.

Engels also openly admits that the CIJA works directly with the US government. In the interview he admits:

By design, CIJA has a strong relationship with U.S. law enforcement.

When asked if members of the US Congress have supported the work of CIJA, Engels would enthusiastically confirm so – citing proposed laws pertaining specifically to Syria.

In other words – nations committed to the overthrow of the Syrian government fund and support the CIJA’s work in Syria – casting doubt on both their integrity and their motivations. Just as the NYT would be remiss to write an entire article based on claims made by the Syrian government itself – it is remiss in uncritically reporting the claims made by its opponents.

After alleged Syria strike, PM says Israel acting against ‘enemy in vicinity’

In apparent acknowledgment of missile attack on sites in southern Syria, Netanyahu says IDF is constantly working to prevent foes from establishing bases along the border.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday said Israel was carrying out pre-emptive attacks to prevent its “enemy” from establishing military bases “in our vicinity,” in an apparent acknowledgment of a strike earlier in the day on alleged Hezbollah facilities across the border in Syria.

“We respond with attacks and force to every attack against us. But we are not only taking action after the fact, we are also denying the enemy capabilities before the fact. In a systematic and consistent way, we are working to prevent our enemy from establishing attack bases against us and in our vicinity,” Netanyahu said.

In the predawn hours of Wednesday morning, Syrian state media reported that Israel fired several missiles toward a mountain near the Golan border.

3M Knew About PFAS Food Contamination in 2001

Last week, we learned that the Food and Drug Administration had detected PFAS compounds in pineapple, sweet potato, meat, and chocolate cake. The presence of the industrial compounds in our food was made public by the Environmental Working Group after a staff member of the Environmental Defense Fund took photos of the research at a scientific conference in Europe.

While the FDA fields questions about why it didn’t present this information to the public itself (the agency released the data along with a statement on Tuesday), it has become clear that 3M, the company that originally developed PFOS and PFOA, had known for a very long time that these toxic and persistent chemicals were in our food.

According to a 2001 study sponsored by 3M, 12 samples of food from around the country — including ground beef, bread, apples, and green beans — tested positive for either PFOA or PFOS. One piece of bread had 14,700 parts per trillion of PFOA, though the report noted that the sample was considered “suspect.”

The Environmental Protection Agency has known about the study for years, but it is not clear if the FDA was aware of the research. The Environmental Working Group mentioned the 3M study in a 2002 report on PFAS chemicals and alerted the Centers for Disease Control.

On Tuesday, attorney Rob Bilott wrote to the FDA to ask “the extent to which FDA was aware of the data collected on behalf of the 3M company in 2001 that confirmed elevated levels of PFAS in the U.S. food supply.” In 1999, Bilott sued DuPont over PFOA contamination around its plant in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where the company used the chemical to make Teflon. Through his litigation, he acquired many documents about PFAS, which he has since supplied to the EPA, FDA, and other federal agencies.

The EPA did not respond to questions about when exactly it became aware of the 3M study. 3M did not respond to a request for comment.

House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., sought Wednesday to keep the fire burning over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report with the latest in a series of hearings on the Russia controversy – as Republicans voiced frustration over what they described as a “grotesque spectacle” on Capitol Hill.

Schiff called the hearing to examine what he called the “disturbing findings” of Volume One of Mueller’s report. That volume focused on allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign.

“Volume one of the report outlines a sweeping and systemic effort by Russia to interfere in the 2016 election for the benefit of Donald Trump,” Schiff declared. “It establishes that the Trump campaign welcomed the Russian interference because it expected to benefit electorally from the information stolen and released through the Russian effort.”

While he said that most Americans would consider the actions of the campaign and Russian officials to “constitute plain evidence of collusion,” he noted that the report did not find evidence sufficient to support criminal conspiracy charges.

“Nevertheless and contrary to the president’s often-repeated mantra and many misrepresentations of the attorney general, the special counsel reached no conclusion as to whether the Trump campaign’s many Russian contacts constituted collusion since that term is not defined in criminal law.”

The hearing featured two former FBI officials while Republicans invited former federal prosecutor and Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy to testify. McCarthy told the panel that Russia wasn’t backing Trump per se in the 2016 campaign, and was rather supporting the candidate seen at the time as most likely to lose.

“[Russian President Vladimir] Putin tends to back the candidates he believes will lose on the theory that an alienated losing faction will make it harder for the winning faction to govern,” he said.

“It is a mistake, I respectfully submit, to allow him to divide us by portraying him as on one side or another. He’s against all of us.”

But the sharpest remarks came from Ranking Republican Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who said that Democrats’ claims of collusion had been “exposed as a hoax.”

Watchdog Exposes $15.3 Billion in Congressional Waste

Report shows pork-barrel spending for 2019 at largest levels in nine years

Congress has stealthily packed $15.3 billion worth of earmarks into its 2019 fiscal year budgets despite its moratorium on the practice, according to a new report.

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), a Washington, D.C.-based taxpayer-watchdog group, released its annual ‘Pig Book' that tracks wasteful spending within the halls of Congress. Sens. Rand Paul (R., Ken.), Ben Sasse (R., Neb.) and Reps. Ted Budd (R., N.C.), Tim Burchett (R., Tenn), Bill Flores (R., Texas), and Tom McClintock (R,.Calif.) joined CAGW's president, Tom Schatz, Wednesday at the Phoenix Park Hotel in D.C. for an event on their findings and the state of earmark reform.

CAGW's investigation discovered more than 280 earmarks that are costing taxpayers a total of $15.3 billion for the current fiscal year, an increase of nearly 22 percent from its 2018 levels. The figures were gathered combing through spending tacked onto appropriations bills and is the largest amount approved by Congress since 2010.

"Dozens of members of Congress from both parties are publicly and privately lobbying for this wasteful and corrupt practice to return," said Schatz. "Pushing pork does not drain the swamp and it won't restore integrity to Washington. One of the best ways to clean up Washington's addiction to waste is for Congress to enact a permanent, statutory ban on earmarks."

The watchdog says that pork-barrel spending has increased drastically from 2017 due to the passage of the Bipartisan Budget Act, which "obliterated the spending restraints imposed by the 2011 Budget Control Act and paved the way for 13.4 percent increase in spending in FY's 2018 and 2019." In 2017, $6.8 billion went towards earmarks, a figure that is 125 percent lower than the current fiscal year.

CAGW highlighted a number of such instances, including $30 million for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), D.C.'s metro rail system that is notorious for "train derailments, track fires, disabled trains, long delays, and even fatalities." This amount accounts for nearly 60 percent of the money it has received in total earmarks since 2009. D.C.'s metro system has been called a "national embarrassment" and has also been plagued with numerous instances of corruption.

Vatican Whistleblower Says ‘Gay Mafia’ Is Blocking Needed Reforms

The former Vatican ambassador to the United States told the Washington Post a gay mafia among Church leadership is blocking attempts to seriously address clerical sexual abuse.

In an extensive interview, snippets of which were published Monday, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò said that the sexual abuse crisis would be “far less severe” if the “problem of homosexuality in the priesthood were honestly acknowledged and properly addressed.”

“Given the overwhelming evidence, it is mind-boggling that the word ‘homosexuality’ has not appeared once, in any of the recent official documents of the Holy See” dealing with clerical sexual abuse, Viganò told the Post.

Instead, a “gay mafia” among the bishops, seeking to protect themselves, was “sabotaging all efforts at reform,” he said.

Late last August, Archbishop Viganò released a shocking 11-page report declaring that in 2013 he had personally informed Pope Francis of the serial homosexual abuse of then-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, but that the pope had ignored the information, elevating McCarrick to a position of influence in the Vatican.

In that report, Viganò linked the clerical sex abuse crisis as well as coverups by bishops to an extensive “homosexual network” in the Church.

“These homosexual networks, which are now widespread in many dioceses, seminaries, religious orders, etc., act under the concealment of secrecy and lies,” he said, “and strangle innocent victims and priestly vocations, and are strangling the entire Church.”

In his allegation, the archbishop did not shy away from naming names.

Why Didn’t Mueller Investigate Seth Rich?

After bungling every last aspect of Russia-gate since the day the pseudo-scandal broke, the corporate press is now seizing on the Mueller report to shut down debate on one of the key questions still outstanding from the 2016 presidential election: the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.

No one knows who killed Rich in Washington, D.C., on July 10, 2016. All we know is that he was found at 4:19 a.m. in the Bloomingdale neighborhood “with apparent gunshot wound(s) to the back” according to the police report. Conscious and still breathing, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:57.

Police have added to the confusion by releasing information only in the tiniest dribs and drabs. Rich’s mother, Mary, told local TV news that her son struggled with his assailants: “His hands were bruised, his knees are bruised, his face is bruised, and yet he had two shots to his back, and yet they never took anything…. They took his life for literally no reason. They didn’t finish robbing him, they just took his life.”

But cops said shortly after the killing that they had no immediate indication that robbery was a motive. Despite his mother’s report of two shots in the back, all the local medical examiner would say is that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso. According to Rich’s brother, Aaron, Jeff “was very aware, very talkative,” when police found him lying on the pavement. Yet cops have refused to say if he described his assailant. A month later, they put out a statement that “there is no indication that Seth Rich’s death is connected to his employment at the DNC,” but refused to elaborate.

The result is a scattering of disconnected facts that can be used to support just about any theory from a random killing to a political assassination. Nonetheless, Robert Mueller is dead certain that the murder had nothing to do with the emails — just as he was dead certain in 2003 that Iraq was bristling with weapons of mass destruction “pos[ing] a clear threat to our national security.

Report: Trump Orders 'Simpler Path' For Genetically Engineered Food

"President Trump wants to make it easier for genetically engineered plants and animals to enter the food supply, and he signed an executive order Tuesday directing federal agencies to simplify the 'regulatory maze' for producers," the AP reports.

The move comes as companies are turning to newer genetic engineering techniques that make it easier to tinker with the traits of plants and animals.

Greg Jaffe, biotechnology director at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, said the impact of the executive order will depend on the details of how it’s carried out by federal agencies. Simply deregulating could make people lose confidence in genetically engineered foods, he said.

“There needs to be an assurance of safety for those products,” said Jaffe, who was among those briefed by government officials on a call before the order was announced.

The order also noted the government’s policies should urge trading partners to adopt similar regulatory approaches. Even if the U.S. loosens regulations on genetically engineered foods, Jaffe noted companies could be hampered by regulations overseas.

Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA) ripped the corrupt Democrats and their criminal Russia hoax on Wednesday in a blistering opening statement during a House Intel Committee hearing.

Nunes is a hero who relentlessly investigated Obama’s DOJ and FBI officials who illegally spied on Donald Trump during the 2016 election.

Chairman of the House Intel Committee Adam Schiff on Wednesday dragged out two FBI witnesses who just happen to be Comey and Mueller sycophants.

The two witnesses, Robert Anderson and Stephanie Douglas, both worked under then-FBI Director Robert Mueller and Nunes did a great job on Wednesday exposing their selective outrage.

Nunes indicated there is evidence the illegal counterintelligence investigation into Trump and his associates started back in 2015, not July of 2016 as the FBI claims.

“There’s been a lot of talk about when this investigation began, now that’s an open-ended question because we can say this investigation coulda begun in 2015 because we know some of the same players were having run-ins with individuals that have questionable ties to either Western intelligence or possibly political campaign operatives, but officially they have said that it started at the end of July [2016].” Nunes said.

Nunes blasted the Steele-Media-Mueller loop of information, leaks and articles that ravaged the US for years and said the FBI is in big trouble.

The FBI witnesses were left speechless when Nunes asked them if it’s normal to have an FBI informant (Christopher Steele) who was paid by the FBI to investigate Trump’s campaign while simultaneously being paid by the Clinton campaign to investigate Trump — then went on to leak to the press.

“This counterintelligence department over at the FBI I think is in big trouble — the fact that you guys are sitting here, former FBI officials, and not saying anything and basically making the case that it is ok to use these very special powers to target a political campaign really troubles me,” Nunes said warning the FBI witnesses.

PM Abe calls Iran significant country, voices Japan’s readiness to help ease tensions

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says his country aims to play a role in easing tensions surrounding Iran, as he highlights peace and tranquility in the Middle East as very important for the entire world.

Abe said that stability and peace in the Middle East region would benefit not only the regional countries but the entire world, adding that efforts should be made to avoid any military confrontation in the region.

“Japan seeks to play a maximum role to prevent tensions, and this has been the focus of my trip to Iran,” he added.

Rally in California Capitol Calls for End to Persecution and Organ Harvesting

SACRAMENTO, Calif.—A rally was held on the steps of the capitol building by supporters of Falun Gong and those opposed to the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes of forced organ harvesting.

Faithful adherents of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa), a peaceful self-improvement practice, sat on the lawn in meditation under the shade of giant Redwood trees bordering the capitol building, sheltered from the intense California sun.

The words “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance,” written in both Chinese and English, hung on booths and appeared on bright yellow shirts, sharing the tenants of Falun Gong with all those passing by on June 11.

The date was chosen to remind people of the establishment of what is called the 610 Office, which is named after the date June 10, the day it was established. The office is charged with destroying freedom of belief inside mainland China. It was created in 1999 by the previous Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, specifically to eradicate Falun Gong.

However, the eradication failed. As people were being arrested in droves through the state-sanctioned persecution, the Chinese regime began what has been described as “one of the most horrific medical crimes against humanity.”

Along with believers of Falun Gong, doctors and lawmakers have voiced their support for the spiritual practice, and opposition to the Chinese regime’s crimes.

In fact, through a perverse but also inevitable twist to identity politics, the most aggressively bigoted and hate-filled censors seeking to suppress and marginalize individuals whom they regard as “other” are the very movements organized as advocates for “victim” minorities. The haters include white supremacist fringe movements who think that through attacks on Jews and blacks they are actually defending whites (who are indeed targeted by so-called social justice warriors. But the most prominent and far more numerous hate groups are the social justice warriors themselves — Black Lives Matter, the misnamed Human Rights Campaign and the equally misnamed Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), an organization that is well-practiced in the art of defamation against what it refers to as “oppressor” groups.

Vice President Mike Pence and Trump’s gay ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, are leading a Trump-inspired global campaign to end the criminalization of gay sex and gay relationships, but you would never know it from the hate that gay “civil rights” groups are directing at them. Pence has been singled out by leading Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg as a dangerous bigot — not because he actually is a bigot but because he holds traditional Christian views of gay marriage, which offend Buttigieg and the gay vigilantes. When Buttigieg announced he was gay and introduced his husband in 2015, Pence went out of his way as the governor of Indiana – as Buttigieg’s political rival — to praise him for his public service as mayor of South Bend.

Justice Minister Ohana says he'll disobey High Court if security at risk

In his first interview since becoming acting justice minister this week, Ohana also made explosive statements regarding the cases against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Justice Minister Amir Ohana told Channel 12 late Wednesday that he was ready to disobey rulings by the High Court of Justice if they went against his view of what was necessary to keep Israeli citizens safe.

In his first interview since becoming acting justice minister this week, Ohana also made explosive statements regarding the cases against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He said he continued to support a bill to circumvent the High Court's ability to veto Knesset laws as well as a bill to give Netanyahu immunity from prosecution while he remains in office.

Moreover, he would not commit to supporting the High Court if it ruled in favor of prosecuting Netanyahu, merely saying he hoped it would not come to that.

Further, while he refused to make new criticisms against Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit's February 28 announcement of a likely intent to indict Netanyahu, he said he stood by his past statements which included clear implications that Mandelblit's arm had been twisted by his prosecution team into going after Netanyahu against the attorney-general's better judgement.

Ohana also questioned the professionalism and non-partisan status of the prosecution, saying there should be no assumption that all of them "are angels" without "improper interests."

The new acting justice minister's interview put him far to the right of even his right-leaning predecessor Ayelet Shaked, who attacked the High Court but never advocated disobeying it and never criticized Mandelblit's handling of the Netanyahu cases.

A court spokeswoman declined to respond.
