Israeli Missile Strike Hits Southern Syria (Video)

Overnight on June 12, warplanes the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a barrage of missiles at targets near Tell al-Hara in southern Syria. According to the Syrian state media, the IDF employed electronic warfare measures to suppress Syrian air defense systems. Despite this, at least a part of the missiles were intercepted and the strike caused material damage only.

Tell al-Hara is known for being one of the positions of the Syrian Air Defense Forces in the area. Pro-Israeli sources as always speculate that the target of the attack were some ‘Iranian targets’.

Huge amounts of C4, explosive devices left by terrorists found in Damascus Countryside

The Uzbek group Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad joined battle against the SAA in northern Hama;

Militants repelled an SAA attack on Kbani. Casualties were reported;

ISIS cells attacked an SAA unit near Qouriya in eastern Deir Ezzor;

An SDF member was killed by supposed ISIS members in Abu al-Nitel.

Pro-Government Sources Announce Another Ceasefire In Northern Hama

A temporary ceasefire agreement in the northern Hama countryside has been reached, Omar Rahmoun, a prominent pro-government figure, announced on June 12.

According to Rahmoun, who is a well-known mediator between the government and the opposition, the new ceasefire agreement will last for at least three days.

HTS And Its Allies Violate New Ceasefire, Attack Army Positions In Hama, Idlib

Less than 24 hours after the beginning of the new ceasefire agreement, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies launched limited ground attacks on Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in the towns of Shaykh Hadid and Kernaz in northern Hama and on the town of Qasabiyeh in southern Idlib.

The al-Mayadeen TV said that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) was able to repel the attacks, which began in the late hours of June 12. The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) resumed their airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in northern Hama and southern Idlib as an initial response.

Lavrov Underlines Importance of Crushing Terrorist Organizations in Idleb

During a press conference with Grenada’s Foreign Minister, Peter David, in Moscow on Tuesday, Lavrov noted that terrorist organizations are in control of most areas in Idleb and they continue their provocations and target civilians, positions of the Syrian Arab Army and the Hemeimeem airbase.

Lavrov underlined the necessity of implementing the Sochi agreement and eliminating terrorist organizations, calling upon the Turkish regime to implement its commitments according to the agreement.
