There are always numerous foundations. As you noted there is also always someone profitting from some else's resources. They somehow exude virtue while doing it implying the locals are uncapable of profitting directly from their resources on their own terms. And it not been enough stupid people subsidize it all with their contributions to said charities thus increasing the profit margin and elevating the virtuosity of the endeavor.
