>Anons. This is sick.
Why? Do you know what people currently have to go through living with some of these horrible diseases? What did people do back in the day when their dogs got too ill to go on?
Look, I'm not going to lie. I hate thinking about death. But why is it "humane" to watch a person suffer like that? You know how many people are forced to live in incredible pain, day in and day out? Heck, sometimes even their own family members can't bare to see them in those kind of conditions. It's sad. Everybody knows it. And some times, even the person will even say it to you. "I want to die". "Please take me out of my misery!"
Dogs can't talk. But when they're too sick to go on, we say "It's time…", and let them die "humanely". The alternative for humans is to charge people ungodly amounts to suffer, BY LAW, because.., you tell me. Because the only reason I can see, is to milk every last penny out of that person in order to "preserve life"?
Sure. This may be abused in the future. But killing yourself is technically "illegal" right now, and people still do it all the time. Would you rather get surprised by a loved one who hung themselves from a ceiling fan, or have them tell you straight up, "Look. I'm sick as fuck. My life sucks. I'm in pain all the time. And tomorrow the doctors are going to put me down. It'll be okay…"???
