BAKER… PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS A NOTABLE. NOT FOR ME BUT FOR OUR SOKDIERS
Guise! This is a very serious situation and I do hope the Q Team sees this and helps out!
It's not a coincidence this guy is shouting about this.
Just last week we had a close aquaintance, who although was not in an emargency situation, was reaching out because of alarming thoughts they had been dealing with regarding suicide. They were NOT contemplating suicide, but needed help. Never had dealt with these thoughts. 4 time deployed combat veteran…young person.
These soldiers and vets have grave concerns when reaching out in regards to suicidal thoughts:
status,
their kids and keeping the integrity of their family solid,
keeping their rights to keep their fire arms,
Ect…
I'm sure there are many other concerns.
This soldier we know, called the VA Hotline to get NO help. They made several calls and by one we're told they had to have a referral from their doctor to get help.
We did find some help from volunteer orgs who had formed support groups for our men and women who have or are serving our Country.
Our VA should not be turning our dearest ones away. No wonder the suicide numbers are up!
We need to be LOUD about this
