Many "old people" have learned to "play dumb" as a way of gaining control over others. It is behavior encouraged by those in power, but it is not admirable behavior in its own right, and can be avoided. We all have our flaws, for sure, but in a sane society, old people will be BETTER at recognizing and adapting to significant change, since they will have experienced it more often. Not all, for sure, but the best. How old is POTUS? He's kickin ass.
