Health Impact News is reporting on the glyphosate contamination in our foods. The story is not new, but author Brian Shilhavy has a possible explanation for Trump's perplexing Executive Order regarding biotech.

I think it wise to avoid most grains at this point and to do whatever you can to provide your own food.

I can't find the post from the anon wanting to know a place to move to after leaving Oregon. I am familiar with 3 or 4 Missouri towns/cities that are ok. At this time Missouri is pretty good, but, of course, not perfect. The southern part of the state is less likely to be heavily glyphosate contaminated but you may want to look at a map (pic related)

Anyway, Kirksville is a college town that is pleasant with older brick homes, still within reach for some regular people. Thousand Hills park nearby is FANTASTIC. Low cost of living, not great job prospects fairly near other interesting places such as Dancing Rabbit EcoVillage.

Columbia, has a bit of everything and the best of liberal and conservative viewpoints. Housing costs are bumping up, but there are nice amenities, a major university, and good job prospects.

Hermann, is esthetically (sp?) pleasing, very pretty and camping is allowed in a park near downtown (you pay). The Missouri wine country is a rare treat and Hermann is home to some river bluffs that are amazing. Bald eagles included. Jobs and rentals are somewhat hard to come by, however.

I can't really recommend Missouri in comparison to other states as I don't know them well. However, Illinois has a net exodus of people right now due to horrible state policies.

If you come to Missouri being progressive on the environment is appreciated, but please, no liberal social engineering or socialist policies. (This is just my two cents) Medical pot and CBD are okay here, however.

Hope that helps
