I don't care if the barbie was one cent, parents who allow their children to steal are the deranged idiots. Did the cop go overboard, probably. But, they are trained to capture criminals. If you don't want to find yourself, or your children, in a situation like this - then stop acting like animals. Theft around the world is dealt with in a more serious manner. Be thankful you both have all your limbs.
