Why are all of the Mexicans flooding our country to begin with? It is to get away from the crap hole they currently reside in.

How much does it currently cost the American Taxpayer to support the illegals in this country? That is roughly with only around 10 million immigrants here. The population of Mexico is roughly 128 million so multiply that out.

The average income in Mexico is $843 per month. Roughly $10 thousand per year.

Education: Most young children attend primary school but only 62 percent reach secondary school. At secondary level about half of students drop out and only a quarter reach higher education, according to non-governmental organization Mexicanos Primero (Mexicans First), which is pushing for reform of the system. Secondary level of education in Mexico is grades 7-9. Even less go on to level three which is grades 10-12.

Corruption and crime are uncontrolled and rampant there.

The only positive that can be offered is that there would be more land mass to the Continental US. I could go on but that should be enough for this discussion.

Yes I have been to Mexico. It is a third world country in a vast majority of the country that is outside of the tourist attractions.

How exactly would their wages suddenly increase? Property values?

It is not our country to clean up. They have the resources available to improve their own country. Most of the illegals that come here make no effort to assimilate into the American culture or society so that would not change by taking over their country.

The other issue is that they are a sovereign nation and would like to stay that way and that should be respected.

Move to Mexico and pitch in to clean it up.

>please elaborate when you say third world. Do you mean they have no modern infrastructure?

They live in structures that come no where close to meeting building codes here in the US. Dirt roads through much of the country. No basic utilities (running water, sewer) in vast swaths of it.

>US laws. Minimum wage.

Paid for by whom or what?

>If they become part of the US, many of us will start buying beach front properties.

I do not think there is anything stopping you now from buying up beachfront property.

>Their resources are being raped by their government. Not used to develop the country. Most Mexicans I know are hard working god loving humans.

The vast majority of the world suffers from this same problem but we do not talk about taking them over.

>This I agree with. They may not want to be part of our Union.

Here is where your argument should have stopped but sadly it did not.

You are correct I do not know who you or what you have done but to add to that it does not matter in this discussion. You are talking about invading a sovereign nation so you can buy beach front property with modern conveniences. Start a war that claims untold lives so you can get a house on the beach. That alone tells me more than I need to know about you.
