This is my thought as well. On the other hand, it is in Miami, which is a hotbed of trafficking. I also wonder what else was just shoved out of the news coverage.

It would not be impossible to stage this bridge collapse (without injuries) as a way to totally block out national (and local) coverage. Some drone cars, some crisis actors… We're watching a movie being scripted by both sides. Just a thought.
