What makes it important is how far its tentacles reach into the politics of NY state. Don't lose track of that. Don't lose track of th Attorney General who, as soon as this case was filed, decided it was a good time to pursue other interests. Is he even still in the country?
This most likely reaches into the basements of Cuomo and DeBlasio. We seem to have lost track of that element of what is going on here. I think that, with a little more digging on our part (okay, a LOT more digging) we could shut Cuomo and DeBasio up.
