Nancy and Justin's Warriors/Raptors Bet
(CNSNews.com) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is literally betting wine and chocolate that the Golden State Warriors will come back from a 3-1 deficit in the best of seven NBA championship series to beat the Toronto Raptors.
Her opponent in this bet is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who is putting up a basket of unspecified “locally-made” Canadian goods.
The Warriors who entered the championship series as heavy favorites blew a big early lead in Game 4 on Friday—and could blow the whole series tonight in Game 4. But Pelosi is betting they won’t.
“The Speaker has wagered a selection of San Francisco’s Ghirardelli chocolate, California wine and a selection of California almonds and walnuts while the Prime Minister has put a basket of locally-made goods from across Canada on the line,” said a released put out by Pelosi’s office today.
“The only thing sweeter than watching Golden State once again become world champions is doing so while enjoying a selection of Canada’s finest,” Pelosi said. “I am proud to be part of Dub Nation!”

Trudeau and Pelosi Place Wager on Warriors-Raptors NBA Championship Series

Washington, D.C. – U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today announced that they have placed a friendly wager on the National Basketball Association Championship series between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors. The winner of the wager will receive a supply of local delicacies from their opponent’s home region. The Speaker has wagered a selection of San Francisco’s Ghirardelli chocolate, California wine and a selection of California almonds and walnuts while the Prime Minister has put a basket of locally-made goods from across Canada on the line. Game 5 is tonight in Toronto.
“The Raptors are making history and they aren’t done yet. We’re going all the way, Canada. Ghirardelli chocolates and a glass of California wine are going to pair nicely with the Raptors’ first NBA title,” said Prime Minister Trudeau. “We the North.”

Agree. Since Q, I've learned nothing is at is seems and I trust very little that I hear or see.. the world as a "video game" where every player can be modified and or false narratives created in a moments time.
