Possibly, but a new one would still have rubber checkballs, and I want to upgrade to plastic and maybe run without plate gaskets to see if it helps the granny shifting. The entire concept of lifetime ATF is a joke. No oil can survive forever in that environment.

Fluid in mine holds up, but I can't say the same for the checkballs. It's at the point where I can upshift to 4th by pounding on the center console.
It would be awesome if it weren't accompanied by a few other undesirable behaviors.
