A deputy was reported shot outside the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department late Friday.
Authorities were called to a report of an officer down at 200 Taylor Street in downtown Fort Worth around 9:30 p.m., according to police records. That building houses a number of county offices, including the sheriff's department, and is across the street from the Tarrant County jail.
The sheriff's office said that a sergeant in its detention unit was injured in a parking lot, and that the injury was related in connection with a crime.

SPENCER, Okla. – First responders are on the scene after a man riding his horse was shot near NE 50th and Post Rd. Thursday evening. Oklahoma County Sheriff Deputies say one man was shot in the chest while riding his horse. The horse took off and was spotted by a passerby. The victim was found lying in his front yard.
2 Men Killed In Double Shooting In Southwest Baltimore

Police were called to the 500 block of S. Bentalou Street around 8:18 p.m. for a Shotspotter alert. When officers arrived, they found two adult male shooting victims. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.

Man found dead in pick-up truck left on Tampa side of Interstate 275
Relatives told police the man intended to commit suicide. No other details were released.

TAMPA — A man was found dead inside a pick-up truck Friday afternoon left on the side of northbound Interstate 275 approaching downtown, according to Tampa police.
Relatives of the man told police that he intended to commit suicide. Officers started looking for the man, who drove a GMC Sierra. They found the vehicle on the side of the interstate, just before downtown.

Police said in a news release Friday that officers were called to the location at around 1:50 p.m. Thursday for the report of a man who was found deceased. The coroner estimates the body was likely lying in the located position for about three weeks, according to the release.
