Before you wager the farm, you should read some of the well-documented expose's regarding the faked and shoddy research Monsanto did to get their govt approvals. Many credible reports have exposed the bribery, fakery and fraud which characterize most Monsanto "science."

Thanks for making my point. Every transgenic species carries novel proteins with which neither that species nbor any which might consume the transgenic species has ever dealt before. The "science" which is being done is satisfied if the transgenic species merely resembles the unmodified species; thorough testing and risk analyses ans environmental impact studies are simply being avoided or faked.
