"I would not place my faith in the military. Most officers, field grade and up are scrutinized by their political ideology. Sure, they need to be competent but it is the *** kisser and politically correct individual that gets promoted. Once you get to the general officer rank, forget about it. Progressive ideology abounds. They all want to get rich and have power AFTER their career.

Some good guys do make it through the process, just like in Hollywood. They are few and far between because they get eliminated early on. That is how the world works. Don't believe me? Look at history. Which generals did the politicians fire and were the generals actually correct? George Patton immediately comes to mind as does Douglas MacArthur and Smedley Butler as far as a few of the most notable examples. History will show that Obama purged the ranks and removed many of the good guys.

Just like the deep state, FBI, CIA and other 3 letter agencies protect their own, the military does the same thing. You can take that to the bank and cash that check. "

"Generals like Patton, Grant and others who actually act and are creative only exist during wartime when they are needed, and the usual line of yes men who can't fight on their toes turns out to be worthless and are relieved of command.

A peacetime military whose real job it is to goose the economy and do the bidding of foreign powers and myopic corporations is going to take some movement to operate during a war, but anyone who's watched those hypersonic russian missiles knows the future of war is even worse than it's already been. It's only the military contractors themselves who try to sell this joke that war is anything like it was. It hasn't been since the late 1940s, at least between nuclear powers."

I do not regret signing on the line. I am thankful that my time concluded under President Trump. Each are called to serve, but how that service is rendered, that's the key. Each piece playing a part.
