Very interesting thing I have found here.

>>Paula Epstein died peacefully on Saturday morning November 11, 2015. She will be remembered for her sharp mind and her deep interest in, and commitment to family, friends and the Jewish community.

Born in the Bronx on July 5, 1928, Paula was the daughter of the late Rose Eliasoff Goldenberg and Sigmund Goldenberg. She proudly and frequently recalled having graduated from NYU at the very young age of 19 and moving immediately into a short, but successful career in publicity. Over the ensuing decades, she frequently boasted (to her children, grandchildren, their spouses and selected others) of a client list had included Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice, Farberware (then in its infancy) and the "Mrs. America" contest, lately taking great care not to confuse it with another similarly named pageant.

She "retired" and moved to Stamford in 1951 after meeting and marrying Sidney, the love of her life. She raised two daughters, Ellen and Julie; made and enjoyed enduring friendships; and dedicated literally tens of thousands volunteer hours to the United Jewish Federation. In addition to her family and volunteer responsibilities, Paula relished cooking and entertaining, both of which she did frequently and beautifully.

Although her health and her ability to partake in activities she had previously enjoyed waned after the death of her beloved Sidney several years ago, Paula remained interested in the lives of her children Ellen Bromley (Tom Gizicki) and Julie Epstein, and fiercely enthusiastic about the activities and evolving lives of her grandchildren Sara Bromley and Steve Seide, Matt Bromley and Elizabeth Sunny and Melissa Bromley and Michael McDonough, all of whom will miss her deeply. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Nia Gizicki, Sidney Bromley and Micah Seide, her brother Carl and sister-in-law Sondra Goldenberg, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth El 350 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT 06902, the Tisch MS Research Center of New York, 521 W 57th St., New York, NY 10019 or the Stamford JCC.

The funeral will be held at Temple Beth El on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 1 o'clock. Following the burial, the family will be sitting shiva at the home of Ellen Bromley and Tom Gizicki on Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening and Monday evening.
