CBS Miami has Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) on and he kept relating the bridge incident with incidents of violence in his state (Parkland, Pulse, etc). Even the reporter thought it was an odd connection to make and pressed him on it "are you suggesting…" which he then back-peddled as "so much violent loss of life"
