There is a huge push to put bicycle and train infrastructure in everywhere and do it fast. They are not planning things out but winging it as they go. It is a globalist thingโ€ฆto replace cars with sustainable travel. They give no real thought before they get started and ignore all the concerns. Pedestrians, which it is all done in the name of, are paying a high price for it. More peds killed in California now than ever before in history. It is awful. No new bike lanes or trains take pedestrian safety into consideration, in fact, they take from peds and give to cyclists.

Obama dumped a bunch of money into it in his last days.

I doubt it is planned. It is a fanatical ideology behind all these new sustainable transport projects. It is an utter lack of planning as they are trying to use that money up as fast as possible.

Cyclists will be chipped. They have already come out with it in California. The autonamous electric cars cannot recognize cyclists.

And cyclists obey no traffic laws. So the tech companies have developed a chip for cyclists so that the automatic driving cars can read them with their sensors. The chip is here.

The cyclists do not want to be on gps. They get banned from certain trails and areas because the local governments can see how fast they are going on their Strava data.

They are up in arms because the rangers are using lidar and laser tech to catch them on trails where they are wrecking the environment and endangering hikers and equestrians.

They won't even put plates on their bikes. They enjoy their outlaw status.

No, they will not do this voluntarily.

They are installing share bikes everywhere. A real mess. They are ditched anywhere.

And some are electric. It is corporatism. The government is working with private corporations. The bikes are cheap because they are fitted with tracking tech. They are using them to detect the traffic patterns of cyclists and selling the information. Ford is one of the companies merging with government to do this.

There is a lot of vandalism of these things in the Bay Area, San Francisco. People hate them.
