I’ve worked on a lot of bridges. 8 lane box and suspension etc etc. something Is fishy.

Doing a stress test while cars are under it waiting on a Red Light makes no sense.

Someones ass will fry.

It seems yes but not one should have happened. A stress without stopping traffic?

Unheard of. Insanity. There was a boom over he bridge just after the collapse with what looked like a snapped cable. That’s where they would have been putting lift to gauge the flex under load.

Any Cape Cod fags here. I built the bridge to the coast Gaurd station in Eastham.

Re-decked the Braga on I-195 late 70s.

We almost dropped that in the river

Before anyone gets bent out of shape. Just so you know that if there is nobody left alive to save then they are not going to start moving that bridge until after they inspect it to see what the failure was.

Well said thank you. Along with commercial fishing I’ve done a lot of bridge and marine construction and commercial scuba diving. Have a great day! Now it’s back to the task at hand
