I was on a NASA tour in 1972 for the final moonshot, Apollo 17, organized for teenagers from all around the world. Each country represented on that tour was given a piece of moon rock. I know that ours is safe, through a soldier who saw it while on guard, but it's not on the list here, I'm going to confirm it officially when I get a chance. A retired NASA special agent called Joe Gutheinz has been tracking these rocks down, I was in touch with him. I know of another fake Apollo 11 rock, but it's a long story.
