Mornin' Anons…I was looking over the list of ICLEI towns and counties and, (aside from Travis County, TX AKA Austin), Humboldt County, CA stuck out to me.

I recently watched the Netflix documentary Murder Mountain, which is about Humboldt county. Lots of fuckery going on there…a shitload of murders likely related to the marijuana industry, and law enforcement doesn't seem too concerned about solving them.

The film makers also make the case that the California govt has made growing weed so expensive and with so much red tape that only big pharma will be able to afford it, and therefore profit from it.
