Clean Cooking Alliance scam appears to be Govt subsidies to fund businesses who are looking to sell 100 million of new 'clean' cookstoves that are probably worthless pieces of crap

looks like its also called Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves

The Alliance’s ‘100 by 20’ goal calls for 100 million homes to adopt clean and efficient stoves and fuels by 2020. Through 2014, the U.S. Government obligated over $80 million to the clean cooking sector and the Alliance – outpacing its original 5-year commitment of $50 million through 2015. U.S. government support to help the Alliance promote a more effective cookstoves sector could reach as much as $325 million through 2020.

FINANCING: Invest up to $175 million in financing to enable the growth of commercial businesses that design, make, distribute, or sell clean or efficient cooking stoves and fuels. This includes a USAID partnership with the Swedish International Development Agency, financial partners, and institutional investors to mobilize up to $125 million in new private financing for manufacturers and distributors of clean cookstoves and fuels. In addition, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation has committed up to $50 million in debt financing for cookstoves businesses.
