I noticed this interesting "blurb" in a print copy of the WSJ from June 7,2019. On page A7 there was a story by Ben Kesling called "Shanahan Accepts Report On Niger Mission"

Here's the quote that got my attention: "The report released Thursday reaffirms earlier conclusions that no single factor caused the mission's fatal outcome, instead pointing to a series of errors that put the Special Forces detachment Mr. Shanahan called Team Quallam, but whose name was Team Ouallam, in a precarious position in a remote area of Niger."

Now, 11 days after this story, Shanahan is out. What did the use of a "Q" instead of an "O" mean? Maybe nothing? It got enough attention from journalists to warrant mentioning in the WSJ story apparently.

Not sure if this sauce is good but here's an online version something related.
