Evening Frens

NASA should use a 200 mile long cable that reaches from the earth into space to transport humans into space instead of stupid ass rockets.

The end of the cable that is in space would have to be attached to something that functions like a gyroscope.

Maybe the end of cable that’s in space should be attached to a rotating shaft that has a 25 mile long cable and counterweight that spins.

Momentum is directly proportional to the object's mass and also its velocity; so use angular momentum to suspend the cable from earth into space.

It can werk frens

It would be simple and inexpensive and effective. I bet God is scratching his head while watching what the ‘geniuses’ in the space race devise. Seems like they’re trying too hard. It’s a lot moar simpler. Just think how a gyroscope works. It will come to you.

Re: EM idea

The amount of magnetic gauss needed to propel such an object is not sustainable or practical. Also would ruin any electrical device and no doubt the induced eddy currents would make the boosters splode. Not smart
