Mat 8:21

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Mat 8:22

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

 

Close but not quite. Another disciple said in essence "let me go do this first". Jesus emphasized the importance of Himself instead. Those dead in their sins can take care of their own, what was more important was remaining with Jesus because He was providing truth and soon He would be providing the opportunity for eternal life.

Agree and I do not want to see anyone get hurt, however that does not mean allowing the defeated to continue to hurt the innocent. Instead , as you know

 

Mat 5:44

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
