>Military.com article says Trump took credit for VA bill passed under Obama; needs a deeper digg (on why??)

I'd disagree with the title of this notable. The HILL is the one saying it was an Obama bill, but the MILITARY.com article says Trump signed it in 2018.

side note- WTF is up with the hill? Why does John Solomon stay with such a corrupt and biased site?

>“If the sponsored immigrant receives any federal means-tested public benefits, the sponsor will be expected to reimburse the benefits-granting agency for every dollar of benefits received by the immigrant,” USCIS tweeted.

Fucking FINALLY!

My Brother in law is a LEGAL immigrant from Scotland. My dad sponsored him (I think my sister, the spouse, isn't allowed) which meant he was financially responsible for any govt service he ended up using. (he used none)

It cost thousands of dollars for an immigration attorney, and took over a YEAR before he could get a green card and get a fucking job. My sister had to work her ass off to support him in the meantime and pay for all of this.

But if you're illegal, you get a free lawyer, under the table pay, and have an entire legion of politicians and "charities" at your beck and call.

He's been doing this since the 2016 election. I went to one of his rallies then and when psychotic leftists started screaming, everyone held up their Trump signs and started with the "Trump, Trump, Trump" call until they were removed.

So frustrating. Esp not being able to work for over a year. Sitting at home, doing nothing really strained the marriage. (they're fine now- married 16 yrs- and he's a US citizen!)
