Some areas of trouble are very sinister in how deep they run. I've started to suspect that there is a way that the Devil has corrupted people's bloodlines through excessive sin and other offenses against God. Something about doing a lot of promiscuous sinning while being completely absent from God will not only impact you but also get somehow infused into the DNA that you pass on into your children, where it becomes harder and harder to remove and becomes near permanent if the children don't find God and succumb to same sins.

So there is spiritual generational curses that cling on from one to the next generation and then there is also a possibility of very literally generation curses through the cursing and polluting of the DNA (and whatever other genetic material and material that also gets used). Generation after generation this can really build up.
