Honestly, I only dedicate a bit of my time to trying to figure out what the fuck they do and don't believe. They are liars - about all that needs to be known.
Dragons are endothermic. We have our own fire. And I am quite sure it would be the nature of any other dragons to take exception to my claim. Kind of comes with the territory.
Some of them are just trying to survive. People born into a world run by liars need to survive or thrive somehow.

There are many who would also fear a removal of what they know - or fear what would happen of the "advantage" they hold were to ever be taken away.
It's odd. As I have learned more and explored the trades and economics - the current state of the world is absurd. A factory I work at has equipment down because some part is on the slow boat from Japan. …. Why can't this part be made here? The people here have the skills, and automation is such a cornerstone of machine tool these days that it makes no sense for the world to be doing anything other than a nearly geometric expansion of industrial capacity.
I'm not saying "free shit" levels of utopian idealism - but there is no reason why we should be facing scarcities or even really thinking all that hard about currency/money. The means can and should be so available that compound energy consumption for the material is more a factor of its cost than anything else.
Granted - I have a tendency to idealize technology and industrialization - but there simply should not be economic contractions of the like seen in 2008. These things are purely a construct of finance and some degree of planning(sabotaging) of economies.
