ALPHABET TRIES TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVE INVESTORS AS THEY QUESTION WHY GOOGLE’S PARENT COMPANY SILENCES CONSERVATIVE VOICES

PRESS RELEASE

Tech Giant’s Hostility Toward Conservatives Comes To A Boiling Point At Shareholder Meeting

Sunnyvale, CA/Washington, D.C. – Google, and its parent company Alphabet, continued its campaign to silence conservative speech today when it repeatedly cut off conservative speakers at its annual shareholder meeting while allowing liberal activists to violate meeting rules and decorum with impunity.

Alphabet executives tried to squash a question from Free Enterprise Project (FEP) Director Justin Danhof, Esq., at today’s annual meeting of Alphabet shareholders held in Sunnyvale, California, but their disrespectful actions only served to highlight the free speech concerns that Danhof raised.

“In nearly every way imaginable, Google works to limit conservative speech. And its attempts to silence me today, while liberal agitators were allowed unlimited time to air their progressive whining, only served to prove my point,” said Danhof.

Xi asks Kim to resume US-NK denuke talks

President Xi Jinping asked North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to resume his country's nuclear dialogue with the United States as China supports a process on finding a "political solution" in achieving denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV reported Thursday.

"The international community expects the United States and North Korea to restart a productive dialogue. In the past year, the peninsular issue has seen bright prospects for resolution through dialogue and won the recognition and expectations of the international community," CCTV quoted Xi as saying during his summit with Kim.

It added that Xi said China would support the North Korean leader's leadership and guarantee stable security. "The situation on the peninsula concerns the peace and stability of the region," Xi told Kim.

In response, Kim said the North had taken "lots of positive measures" over the past year; however, he complained that he hadn't received "active responses from the relevant party," an apparent reference to the United States.

Google, Facebook face 10% VAT from July

Global IT giants, such as Google and Facebook will have to pay a 10 percent value-added tax (VAT) starting next month, according to the National Assembly and industry sources, Wednesday.

This comes from a revision to the VAT Act, a much-awaited measure for their local counterparts that have long demanded a "fair and level" playing field.

The revision, which was approved by the Assembly late last year, is set to take effect from July 1.

Under the revision, the tax authorities will impose a 10 percent VAT on global IT giants' business-to-consumer (B2C) digital services, including online-to-offline services, online advertisements and cloud computing, which many expect will increase the competitiveness of domestic IT firms.

Accordingly, foreign IT companies are expected to increase their services and advertisement fees by 10 percent.

Democrats Hold Reparations Hearing — Witness Burgess Owens Calls for Democrat Party of Slavery to Pay Restitution (VIDEO)

The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties held a hearing on Wednesday to discuss “the Path to Restorative Justice.” Specifically, they were discussing H.R. 40 — a bill that proposes a commission on reparations.

Ta-Nehisi Coates, Danny Glover, Sen. Cory Booker and various other activists spoke at the hearing.

So did race-baiting Bishop Eugene Taylor Sutton from Maryland. Bishop Sutton argued that white people need to pay reparations to black people to save their souls from damnation.

But the Republican panelists stole the show. Former NFL great Burgess Owens called for the Democrat Party to be held accountable for reparations.

Burgess Owens: “I used to be a Democrat until I did my history and found out the misery that that party brought to my race… Let’s pay restitution. How about the Democratic Party pay for all the misery brought to my race…“

This was just excellent!

Stand

In the end you'll still be you

One that's done all the things you set out to do

Stand

There's a cross for you to bear

Things to go through if you're going anywhere

Stand

For the things you know are right

It s the truth that the truth makes them so uptight

Stand

You've been sitting much too long

There's a permanent crease in your right and wrong

Stand

There's a midget standing tall

And the giant beside him about to fall

Stand. stand, stand

They will try to make you crawl

And they know what you're saying makes sense and all

Stand

Don't you know that you are free

Well at least in your mind if you want to be

Everybody

Stand, stand, stand

YOUTUBE REMOVES FEP VIDEO AT LEFT’S REQUEST

Back in 2014, Free Enterprise Project Director Justin Danhof “destroyed liberal radio host over genetically modified foods.” That’s how the headline read on YouTube. But not even the headline is left anymore. YouTube pulled the Danhof video appearance down.

When conservatives gained prowess in talk radio, liberals tried to stop them by demanding “equal time.” As the Fox News Channel dominates cable, the left seeks to silence it by attacking its hosts, advertisers and guests. Now the left is actively trying to pull conservative content off of social media.

When it’s a fair debate, the left loses. So the solution these days appears to be to just shut down the opposition. Free speech for me, but not for thee.

In this case, liberal talk radio host Thom Hartmann petitioned YouTube – a subsidiary of Google – to remove the old interview he did with Justin from the National Center’s YouTube page. Hartmann posts his shows on YouTube. And, in that particular case, Justin was live in the studio with him. Hartmann apparently didn’t want to share the show when the results didn’t serve his purposes.

Fed Rate Cut Signal Is Strong Enough For Wall Street; Dow Jones Rises

The Federal Reserve held its key interest rate steady on Wednesday, but policymaker projections revealed a big dovish shift. While Wall Street is even more dovish, pricing in three Fed rate cuts by January, the Dow Jones and broader stock market rose in volatile action after the Fed meeting.

Fed Rate Cut Tipping Point

One Fed committee member, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard, dissented. He preferred a rate cut right away. In March, zero policymakers expected a rate cut this year. Three months later, quarterly Fed projections showed that eight policymakers expect at least one rate cut. Seven of those eight expect two rate cuts this year. While the Fed is closely divided overall, any further escalation of the China trade war would surely tip policy toward the doves.

How and why trade in smuggled drones is thriving in grey market

CHENNAI: On June 8, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials in Chennai seized 48 drones worth Rs 23 lakh from shops in Egmore.

A few months earlier, sleuths in Ahmedabad had busted a drone smuggling network and identified that the gadgets were being smuggled from China through Myanmar. Once they reached India, drones were transported through couriers or in domestic airlines, falsely declared as camera stands or electronic items.

Supreme Court Upholds World War I Cross on Public Land – Radical Atheists and Democrats Hit the Hardest

They won’t be happy until they destroy every symbol of God in the country.

An activist federal court ruled in October 2017 that the 1925 American Legion Memorial to World War I in Maryland must be removed.

The 87 year old memorial has a cross and, according to the liberal court, that violates the US Constitution.

The 40-foot tall Maryland memorial became known as as the Peace Cross.

How Iran’s regime stalls on meeting FATF obligations

Iran, June 19, 2019 - The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the international body tasked with fighting global financing of terrorism and money laundering, is currently convening in Orlando, Florida, and will be deciding whether the Iranian regime is meeting its commitments toward making its financial system transparent. Tehran had been previously notified to pass the necessary laws to become conformant with the Palermo and CFT (Combatting Foreign Terrorism) bills, two necessary standards of the FATF. But since 2016, the regime has been stalling.

Failing to pass the necessary bills will put the regime on the FATF's blacklist of high-risk states. This will make Tehran subject to countermeasures to protect the international banking system and will make it much more difficult for the mullahs to finance their terrorist agendas and proxies across the globe.

Previously, Abbas Araqchi, the regime's deputy foreign minister, had predicted the passing of the CFT and Palermo bills on the European Union launching INSTEX, a financial instrument that was supposed to enable the regime to circumvent U.S. sanctions.

Iran's state-run Channel 1 television reported that in a meeting with Helga Schmid, the secretary general of European Union external action service, Araqchi threatened that if the EU does not meet its commitments under the nuclear deal forged between Iran and world powers, the regime will take retaliatory measures on its obligations, as its president Hassan Rouhani had previously declared.

US adds Saudi Arabia, Cuba to blacklist on human trafficking

WASHINGTON: The United States on Thursday added SaudiArabia and Cuba to its blacklist of countries that are not doing enough to fight human trafficking, a designation that could bring sanctions.

In an annual report, the state department faulted ally SaudiArabia for rampant violations among foreign laborers and accused adversary Cuba of trafficking through its program of sending doctors overseas.

Countries that remained on Tier 3, the lowest ranking in the report, included China, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela.

"If you don't stand up to trafficking, America will stand up to you," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said as he presented the report alongside Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump's daughter and adviser.

A Tier 3 designation means that the United States can restrict assistance or withdraw support for the country at the International Monetary Fund or other global development bodies.

Pompeo said that the United States last year took actions against 22 countries due to the human trafficking designation.
