I don't think LG IS warmongering. He's just pointing out that if Iran continues on their current course of provocation, DJT WILL respond militarily. Iran are just testing to see how much provocation they can offer Potus before he responds. LG is advising that DJT WILL respond so Iran better watch out.

That's not warmongering - it's deterrence through demonstrated strength.

Art of War: always leave the enemy a bridge on which to retreat - i.e. without loss of face. "Earthquakes" allow a dignified retreat. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of an "earthquake" in Iran taking out a nuke/uranium enrichment facility in the not too distant future.
