Iran has proven that they can commandeer a drone. They may have found a way to fake its telemetrics. From 6,000 miles away, one wave looks pretty much like another. I think at this point that we are just waiting for someone to come up with a piece of it on one side or the other of an invisible line. If it WAS intruding, maybe Iran should have waited until they were in a position to snag the pieces parts. If it wasn't intruding, the US should at least have radar traces proving it.
An over-sized model plane was knocked down by an even bigger missile. Both the US and Iran should have a radar trace to prove what happened.
