CodeMonkey need to fix the damn code! I know exactly where the problem is. It wrongly assumes .jpeg files have thumbnails with a .jpg extension:

I put in a bug report on /sudo/.. It was ignored. He just needs to insert a couple lines to handle the .jpeg case correctly.

I suspect this more likely refers to an impending scandal involving the Fed's handling of gold that was left with them that was supposed to be non-fungible.
They have a service in which they physically move specific numbered bars from one account's vault to another upon request for the fee of $2 per bar. The whole idea is that they are handling their client's property in the for of specific objects, numbered bars. But when Germany asked for their back, what they eventually got were entirely different bars then what they deposited. Fucker alarms went off around the world. It sounds like the Fed had been taking their cliesn't property, melting it down, and using it to play the gold markets. Big no-no.
