Did POTUS really launch an attack on Iran last night?

Call for a DIGG

June 21, 2019, 7:10 am EDT

Since about maybe 8 hours ago, rumors have been circulating about POTUS launching retaliatory airstrikes on Iran, although the only source originally was the NYT, who cites anonymous sources in their story. Initially, no other sources except one breaking news twitter service would cover the story.

Other media outlets gradually picked up the story (CBS, CNN, DB, etc.), but most cite the NYT or just state the story as though it were fact wo/mentioning sources. There is no official news release.

Here's an cite by Bloomberg:

Trump warned Tehran via Oman that an attack was imminent, according to a Reuters report on Friday that cited Iranian officials it didn’t name.

UNNAMED SOURCE….

I suspect that this is may be a story put out for a purpose, but which may not have really happened.

But who LEAKED the story out (POTUS' admin or an anti-admin insider)?

Here's part of an account by FOX news:

The United States made a last-minute decision to call off retaliatory strikes against Iran in response to the downing Thursday of a Navy drone that Washington said was over international airspace, a source told Fox News early Friday.

But few details about the aborted mission and the circumstances that led to the reversal were available.

Multiple news outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post and Associated Press, reported similar accounts — ''citing unnamed sources.'' These reports portray a mission that would have targeted Iranian missile batteries and radars. No shots were fired and no missiles were launched, according to the AP………

Trying the steer anons away from here? Gimme a break. wearethene.ws is not for anons, it's for normies. Good site, imo, so far. GREAT opposition to it suggests it is over the target. Have seen nothing wrong with this site so far, but loud voices on the board got it taken off page 2. Loudest voices are usually not the voices of anons, kek.

All kinds of anons use o7 to show their respect for other anons, and why not? One of the ways shills attack this board is to take customs we use to create a sense of union/community and start trashing them, claiming they are associated with something bad. Words of greeting, affection, and solidarity are important to sustain us through this long battle. Do not let "Newspeak" shills villify the words of honoring and encouragement that patriots exchange to support one another. Defend our right to self-expression. That's what we are here for right? To defend free speech for all? Let's start with our own.

Glittering generalities. Vast majority of notables are news stories relevant to this board. They are listed for anons for comment on–which they do, especially if they don't think something belongs there. Competent bakers try to list between 200 and 400 (later during busy breads) so that anons add missed notables and "subtract" ones that seem fake and gay.
