There is a reason why abortion on demand should always be outlawed by people who want to remain free. Whether or not you believe life starts at conception, many people do believe this. An ectopic pregnancy developing in a woman's fallopian tube will cause a rupture and hemorrhage that will end the unborn baby's life and possibly harm or kill the mother. This is one situation where a physician could save a woman's life by helping her to terminate her pregnancy.
However, women who practice "safe sex" (remaining celibate until marriage) are probably a lot less likely to have risk factors for ectopic pregnancy. Men who do the same are less likely to carry diseases that put women at risk for PID (pelvic inflammatory disease).
All this is to say that when we treat ANY human lives as disposable (as in abortion) or anyone's body as an article for "use" (such as happens in prostitution or other forms of extramarital sex) we devalue ALL human life.
When men and women have sex outside of marriage and a child is conceived the child can be considered an "inconvenience". Now the degradation of the man and the woman leads to treating a helpless baby as a disposable item, as well.
Medical doctors, activists and others who think that they are correcting wrongs by helping women to terminate pregnancies are deceived. Medical doctors and others who are willing to sell the tissues and bodies of the unborn are demonstrating that ALL people are equivalent to cattle or sheep to them: Fit for consumption or sale as a commodity.
If you want your life to matter whenever you seek help for an illness or medical condition it is in your best interest to work with practitioners who hold to the highest standards in recognizing the worth and value of all human beings.
