Like I said yesterday, no one has a patent on fake news. To dismiss every single story from an outlet you don’t like is silly. To believe every single story that confirms what people think is true is also silly. If The NY Times reported that Hillary was about to be indicted for child trafficking, 99% of this board would be lit up with that story link with “its habbening!!!”
Probably. Impossible to know what was said but more than likely the Gang of 8 was gathered along with a few others to notify them that POTUS was planning to strike.
That’s fine. Questioning and dismissing it immediately are 2 different things. I will continue to question every news outlet report. And I will also question “anonymous sources” from every outlet. Freedom to choose is great.
POTUS probably pre-taped a message for the networks and newspaper outlets saying he had ordered targeted strikes against Iran. Would send it to outlets after everyone was back in safe space after the strike. But called it off. My guess.
