I think Q has nothing new to report right now. He actually wrote little of real value for quite some time before the current hiatus. It was basically just cheerleading for a while, and people were starting to get bored with that, so I'm assuming Q decided to let this board cool off for a while, knowing that it will heat right up again as soon as he returns.
My best guess is that we are awaiting some form of key event that moves The Plan to the next step, then Q will make his triumphant return.
