God gives us rope (free will) Satan/Lucy ties the nooses. Do as though wilt… until God comes to separate the wheat from the chaff.

actual open source internet would be all the rope needed for humanity to hang itself… but, if God reveals himself by ridding us of bad actors, proving his commandments to be loving - we might stand a chance in the next step. At least that's my take on it.
