For Windowsfags:

They're pushing a new service pack already, even though the current one doesn't lose support until November. Last attempt at an update got some people's personal files deleted or moved. Call to archive off-computer if you haven't lately. Fuckers claim you can the update it when YOU want, but we all know how that goes.

Problem is, the minute any company gains control of the user-share, they then suddenly make their product incompatible with everything else. So then all the periphery companies that depend on that platform to sell their product have to play ball. So I'd say eliminate the monopolies, but not all people will jump to smaller platforms. Unfortunately you need to eliminate the executive logjam as well. Enforce or pass laws that will make them liable for their "fuck-ups." I don't like gov't regulations, but I don't know how consumers can hurt tech companies on their own. Especially with things we don't pay money for like Twatter and Faceplant.
