Back when Trump declared himself to be a "very stable genius", everyone I know were laughing at him and calling him a village idiot and a buffoonish clown.
I told them he is indeed a genius, not at math perhaps, but at understanding and manipulating people. He's the Einstein of knowing how people tick, and what buttons to push to achieve the desired response. He is also practically immune to having his own buttons pushed, and is being unpredictable on purpose to confuse opponents.
Trump is basically at war with the entire power structure of the planet, and he's winning, not a shot fired. Sun Tsu would ask Trump for an autograph.
