So… We have all seen the professions of Masons who say once they get to the 33 degree test, the answer is God is Lucifer.
But given you sauce, it would suggest that your reading of the bible is a very literal one. I don't know you so I will assume you are of good intentions, so… the KJV bible is full of symbolism, the message of the new testament is most defiantly a spiritual one. Every bible believing church I have ever been in spends more time defending the literalness of the bible than they do helping people understand spiritual principles and all to often doing it trough fear.
And yet if you read John and then read most any non-canonical book of the bible it is hard to argue that the gospel of John is not a Gnostic document.
The Masons use the bible as a map to the spiritual world. On face value, given the way Lucifer is understood by the 'bible believing' Christians, luciferians must be devil worshipers. That could be true, but sadly, most Masons have at least some understanding of the spiritual world where as most Christians are in reality material realists overlaid with a spiritual map they do not understand.
There are many who will be told ' I do not know you'.
