They need a warrant to surveil Trump's contacts, even here. And that would have to assume that an agency still has a warrant on him that he somehow doesnt know about.
That being said, we are all being surveiled here because the 4th amendment does not protect metadata. So, our metadata has been collected here and if something becomes suspicious they can get a warrant to unmask us and surveil us_p + 2 hops in our contacts.
Being surveilled does not surpise anyone here and it only makes the actual criminals and paranoids nervous.
