I am so angry about Ravelry (the knitting site) openly deciding to censor pro Trump stuff.

I knit and have used the site extensively in the past to find patterns. It is a well made site but is annoyingly left leaning. They had a whole front page devoted to gay pride month. Conservative leaning pattern submissions are not that common but the site has some conservative leaning sub-groups. I am hoping that they dont mean to get rid of those.

In any event, you are far more likely to see pussy hats or 'fuck trump' washcloths on any given day than anything remotely pro trump… among the new patterns… then last week, someone put up a beautiful pattern for a very professional looking doubleknit scarf which had the lettering for 'trump 2020'… the comments for the pattern were all very positive and supportive. I am guessing that someone lost their shit and decided they couldnt have that evil white supremacy on full display.

Makes me wish i had the cojones to make a pro free speach competitor site. I'd want to call it 'Froggery'. In knitting and crochet , when you undo your project to redo or reuse the yarn it is actually called 'frogging'. It would be a very Kek-friendly site. Meme-magic at its best.
