Except that men tend to be the builders and fixers in most situations. Sure - there are women who do that stuff, but for every one woman in a given population who you will find working a mill/lathe, there are about ten men who are doing it, and nearly every other man out there will try if a woman bats her eyelashes and asks him to build a space ship.
There's a dynamic harmony of the sexes, so to speak.
