Kamui = "God Robe" (or a robe worn by gods).
Junketsu = "Purity" in the vain of divinity/sanctity.
Kiryuin = three kanji with an archaic meaning of "Yellow Dragon Empress."
It is not enough to merely wear symbols, one must become them. Lady Satsuki is the Goddess of the Sun - Amaterasu and the mortal become God/Dragon - The Earth Dragon. (And also Oda Nobunaga, but that is an echo of her also being the ruler of the Sun and naval tradition - IE - Japan and Germany in World War 2).
You'll note that the shroud takes on the form of a dragon.

Junketsu is not something to be worn lightly. It is a monster that can only be worn by the fully naked human with the will to subdue a god - and its role is to train the fresh blood of the world and hone the blades of the ambitious to cut them from the threads of fate woven by those who own the world on behalf of an alien parasite.
