Most likely. Trump pretended to have issues with Sessions when he was still AG in order to create distance. That way Sessions wouldn't be accused of being a Trump puppet.
If the OIG and/or Huber reports are ready to drop then it would make sense for Trump to renew/reinforce that distance.
