This is more fun.

Constant exposition ruins a good plot.

I can tell you what is going on and explain it - but we are kind of in the middle of the movie and … Who am I but another anon throwing his opinion into the fray?

Suffice to say, there is a lot of talk about what President Trump is supposedly doing compared to the things he has actually stated he has done or signed proper orders to fulfill. Remember how Candidate Trump was going to build a hotel in Russia?

Kind of like how he was going to retaliate against Iran.

Or how he was going to suddenly deport millions with absolutely no logistical capacity to do so.

Anyone can draft up a powerpoint and submit it for consideration at a meeting to, then, sell to the media.

These are not very imaginative or resourceful people. Very dull, brute force tactics with them, for the most part. Or… Tactics that were sharp 50 years ago and have since seen their edge quite worn.

True, one doesn't need to be sharp when one holds large amounts of power…. But… If we are playing a game like Go, for example, then power shifts quite rapidly and brute force can become an instant suicide.

Well, if I were to suddenly go outside and run around naked - that would probably not be part of the plan. But anyone who the plan must necessarily revolve around has every possible choice they can make categorized and a contingency for it.

It isn't about having "control" over what your opponent does or does not do - but about having control over the outcome no matter what they decide to do. They can all choose to off themselves - it won't change what is coming. They can pull all the levers, press all the buttons, turn all the knobs…. Everything they can possibly do fits within a category and there is a contingency to deal with all of them.
